Complaints, Feedback & Appeals
We welcome feedback to improve. Raise issues informally with your trainer first. For formal matters, email admin@bestwestcare.net.au or call (08) 9439 1673. Our processes are fair, timely, and recorded – see the Learner Handbook for full details. External escalation is available through the Training Accreditation Council (TAC) WA.
Your practical placement and hands-on training
Real skills are built by doing. Across our nationally recognised qualifications, you’ll move beyond the screen and into supervised practical sessions using industry equipment, plus a work placement that puts your learning into a genuine care setting.
Placement is where it all comes together – and it’s often where our students land their first role. Our trainers prepare you thoroughly beforehand, and our team coordinates the details so you can focus on building your confidence on the floor. If you have questions about placement requirements, timing or what to expect, get in touch with us.
Student wellbeing and support
Study can be demanding, especially when you’re balancing work, family and a fast-paced course. Your wellbeing matters to us. If you’re finding things tough – academically or personally – please don’t wait until it becomes overwhelming.
Talk to your trainer or contact our team, and we’ll help you find the right support, adjust where we reasonably can, and make sure you have what you need to keep going. Reaching out is a strength, not a setback.
If you’re ever in immediate distress, please call Lifeline on 13 11 14 or, in an emergency, dial 000.
Policies and your rights as a student
