Certificate IV in Leisure & Health

Course Delivery

The CHC43415 Certificate IV in Leisure and Health course is self-paced and you can enrol at any time of the year.

The course duration can take between 6 to 18 months, depending on individual commitment and experience in the field.

Delivery can be via a flexible combination of:

• Classroom sessions
• Simulation in class scenarios
• Home study
• Workplace experience (120 hours), for which we find your placement.

You may apply for Recognised Prior Learning (RPL), if you have achieved any level of skills and knowledge equivalent to the learning outcomes (resume, letter from employer etc). Credit Transfers are available if you have successfully completed any of the current unit/s.

• CHCLAH005 – Incorporate lifespan development and sociological concepts into leisure and health programming
• CHCPRP003 – Reflect on and improve own professional practice
• HLTAAP002 – Confirm physical health status
• HLTWHS002 – Follow safe work practices for direct client care

Enrolment requirements

To enrol in CHC43415 Certificate IV in Leisure and Health, you must:

• Be an Australian Residence or Citizen, or have an appropriate visa to study this accredited certificate.
• Be reasonably fit and physically capable of performing the role.
• Meet the foundation skills (literacy and numeracy levels) necessary to perform in the role.
• Preferable to have some experience in leisure and health services.
• National Police Clearance certificate (apply online).
• Be able to sign a Statutory Declaration about criminal history at enrolment.
• USI Number (Unique Student Identifier). If you don’t have one, you can apply online via the USI, Government website.

Your Enrolment Appointment

Please bring the following to your enrolment appointment:

• Phone and book your enrolment appointment with a member of our training staff on (08) 9439 1673.
• Provide Photo ID (Driver’s License or Passport)
• Provide Proof of Residency / Citizenship (Birth Certificate / Passport).
• Deposit of $600 deposit to secure enrolment.

Placement Requirements

To get placement for the Cert IV in Leisure and Health course, you must:

• Hold a current National Police Clearance (apply online).
• Proof of minimum 3 Covid vaccinations.
• Proof of Influenza vaccination (current year).
• Statutory Declaration about criminal history, signed at the enrolment appointment.

Course Fees

The total cost for the CHC43415 Certificate IV in Leisure and Health course is:

• $3,500

This includes ‘in-person’ First Aid training, flexible (blended) training options, us sourcing your placements on your behalf, delivering career-ready outcomes!

Payment plans available: A deposit of $1,000 is paid on enrolment. The remainder of the fees are to be paid in instalments over the first 6 months of your course.
