Is the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing/Disability) or CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support nationally recognised?
Yes. Both the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing/Disability), and the CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support qualifications are nationally recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework, and Bestwest Care is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO no. 51585).
How long does it take to complete a disability support course?
CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing/Disability) can be completed within 7 weeks to 18 months, depending on delivery mode, and placement requirements. CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support can be completed within 14 weeks (in person) to 18 months.

Are flexible study options available?

Do I need prior experience to study disability support?
No prior experience is required for Certificate III. Certificate IV may require prior study or relevant experience, and full details are available under each individual course linked above.
Will Bestwest Care organise my placement?
At Bestwest Care, the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing/Disability) goes beyond the standard by helping you secure a suitable disability support placement. While this level of support isn’t typical across the industry, our strong partnerships ensure your course experience is as seamless and practical as possible.
The CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support course does not require practical placement. All practical components are completed within the classroom.
