Our History
After many years as a leader and manager in both public and private Health and Aged Care settings, our current Director and Founder, Margaret Mazzucchelli, recognised the challenges faced by Aged Care providers in finding quality, well-trained, and skilled staff.
In 2001, she established Bestwest Care to address this need, having started as a staffing agency, providing qualified staff to Aged Care facilities throughout Western Australia.
A Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nursing, Margaret has accumulated extensive experience in the Health and Aged Care sectors, including roles in Community and Public Health, Aged Care, human resource management, change management, and implementation.
Recognising the importance of professional industry training, Margaret registered Bestwest Care as a Registered Training Organization in 2005.
Today, Bestwest Care is a Western Australian-owned and operated organisation that specialises in providing qualified staff to the state’s Aged Care facilities, Community Respite services, Disability Support services, and health services. The company offers temporary staffing solutions across Western Australia and provides industry-specific training services.
With her deep understanding of the Aged Care sector’s challenges and her commitment to delivering well-trained professionals, Margaret has positioned Bestwest Care as a reliable partner for Aged Care providers, ensuring they have access to the skilled workforce they need while also contributing to the professional development of caregivers through quality training programs.

Agency Employment“I had wonderful training right from the theoretical part of it. Bestwest Care well equipped me for what’s ahead thus I came prepared. Practical placement went well as I was instilled confidence by my Bestwest Care trainers. The first week I was just observing but from there all the mentors showed me what needed to be done and they were supervising and teaching me all the way. Because of all these reasons I got employed where I completed my placement. I am forever grateful and forever indebted to the facility. Thank you a million times guys.”
