Mazzucchelli M

Margaret Mazzucchelli – Director

Margaret is a Registered Nurse and has a Bachelor of Applied Science – Nursing. Margaret has had a wide variety of experience in the Health and Aged Care sectors including Community and Public Health, Aged Care, human resource management, change management and implementation.

In 2001, after many years as a leader and manager in both public and private Health and Aged Care settings, Margaret established Bestwest Care. Bestwest Care commenced as a staffing agency before registering as a Registered Training Organisation in 2005.

Margaret was well aware of the problems faced by Aged Care providers and their need for quality, well-trained and skilled staff, and set up the organisation to provide qualified staff to Aged Care facilities throughout WA, as well as professional industry training.

Maggie Rushton

Maggie Rushton – Training Manager

 

Maggie has many years’ experience in the provision of aged care in England and in Australia. She presents training to Certificate III and Certificate IV students and is responsible for the management of all training activities.

Maggie holds the following qualifications:

  • TAE50211 Diploma of Training Design and Development
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110)

Eru M

Michelle Eru – Trainer and Assessor, Compliance

Michelle has a wide variety of experience in many industries including aged care. Michelle is responsible for compliance, continuous improvement and quality management.

 

Michelle holds the following qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110)
  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (BSB41412)
  • Certificate IV in Ageing Support (CHC43015)
  • Certificate III in Aged Care
  • Certificate III in Home and Community Care

  • HLTAID003 Provide First Aid and HLTAID006 Provide Advanced First Aid Certificates.

 

 

Kim Wheeler

Kim Wheeler – Administration Manager

Kim has had many years’ experience in a variety of administrative roles. She coordinates all administration activities and processes and also manages the organisation of student placements.

We are supported by an administration team of Gaylia, Jenny, Katelan, Kayla, Sally, Simon and Yvonne.

Robyn Stuart

Robyn Stuart – Assessor & Recruitment

Robyn has been with Bestwest Care for many years. She is an enrolled nurse and has had a lot of experience in aged care firstly as a care worker, then as an enrolled nurse. Robyn has completed the assessment skill set of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and assists us in workplace assessments.

Robyn coordinates the recruitment of our agency staff.

Robyn holds the following qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Aged Care,
  • Diploma in Nursing
  • HLTAID003 Provide First Aid

Dawn Walker – Trainer & Assessor

Dawn has a wide variety of experience in many industries including aged care and disability care. She presents training to Certificate III students and teaches Apply First Aid.

Dawn is an Award Member of Royal Life Saving – WA.

Dawn holds the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Biology
  • Certificate III in Aged Care,
  • Certificate III in Home and Community Care
  • Certificate III and Iv in Health and Fitness
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110).

Camille Tangey

Camille Tangey – Trainer & Assessor

Camille has a wide range of experiences in many industries and has had significant involvement in women’s health and personal development, unemployed and disadvantaged communities and indigenous services, particularly in the Eastern Goldfields of WA. Camille also has experience working with the education of women in Papua New Guinea. She has worked in the aged care sector as a care worker for many years.

Camille holds the following qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Community Services (Aged Care)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Micaela Bull – Trainer & Assessor

Micaela is currently studying nursing at university and assists us in all aspects of training and assessment. Micaela has had a variety of experiences in a range of industry.

 

Micaela holds the following qualifications:

  • Diploma of Paramedical Science
  • Certificate IV in Health Care (Ambulance)
  • Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue
